On January 1, 2022 <still hard to believe it’s 2022, tho> – I couldn’t get that song out of my head for some reason. So – I looked it up and thought I’d breakdown the song lyrics versus what each one of us promises to do as our New Years Resolution(s).

NEW YEAR – NEW YOU! <in ’22>
We ALL have great intentions to keep these resolutions, but how many and for how long?
I highlighted the lyrics in RED because that’s the KEY to the success of ANY business plan.
If you don’t write it down…….how can YOU hold yourself ‘Accountable’? It’s really that simple.
For years – I would tell myself that I’m gonna do this or I’m gonna do that……..which is all fine & dandy…….but 3-months from now will I really remember what I promised myself? The answer <most likely> is NO. That is <of course> unless you write it down and live each day by those promises – to yourself.
Just like with Santa Claus: Make a list and check it twice!!
I was lucky enough to have some really strong Mentors and Teachers in the business world who held ME accountable
to make those goals and write them down. Then……strategically place those goals in areas that you normally spend your time:

Then, share those goals with a friend or business partner—-I guarantee that they’ll have as much incentive to call you on-the-carpet IF you aren’t following your goals. Because ‘out-of-site’ really is ‘out-of-mind’.
So (like Ice Cube said)- Check yo self before you Wreck yo self!!
So my promise to YOU is that I will: STOP the REVOLUTION…….. and START the RESOLUTION
